Q: When are the races of the TRI-Factor Series 2010?
A: The Swimming Room TRI-Swim: Sunday, 09 May 2010

Q: Where are the race venues?
A: The Swimming Room TRI-Swim: Sentosa Island.
 Dermalogica TRI-Bike: Changi.
 TIMEX TRI-Run: Punggol.
 HP TRI-Athlon: East Coast Park.

Q: How many categories are there?
A: There are 2 main categories, the Individual and the Mixed Relay Team.

Q: What is the flag-off time for each category?
A: The Swimming Room TRI-Swim: 8:30am
 Dermalogica TRI-Bike: 7:30am
 TIMEX TRI-Run: 7:00am
 HP TRI-Athlon: 7:30am

Q: Do I have to qualify for the event?
A: For safety reasons, qualification is necessary to ensure that participants are in proper physical condition to participate in the event.

Q: Can I be exempted from the trials?
A: Participants who wish to be exempted from the trials must submit supporting documents to prove that they have completed races of similar distance in year 2008, 2009 or 2010.

Q: Can I accompany my child who is participating in the race?
A: Junior participants are encouraged to race with minimal or no support. Therefore, parents/guardians who wish to accompany their child/ward must be registered as participants for the respective races that their child/ward is taking part in.

Q: Where can I leave my belongings?
A: Baggages can be deposited at the start area. Participants are advised to carry only the essentials to the race to minimize the inconvenience of queuing up at the baggage deposit area to check in/retrieve their belongings.

Q: Will the event still carry on in the event of inclement weather?
A: In the event of inclement weather on race days, the Organisers reserve the right to delay the commencement of the races or alter the route.

Q: Will there be distance markers along the route?
A: There will be distance markers at regular intervals to provide participants an indication of the distance they have covered in the race.

Q: Will there be road marshals stationed along the route to guide me?
A: There will be marshals and pylons stationed throughout the route to provide lookouts as well as to direct participants to the right track.

Q: What if I am injured during the race or otherwise unable to finish the race?
A: There will be safety boats and kayaks manned by certified lifeguards located throughout the TRI-Swim and TRI-Athlon swim course. First aiders and ambulances will also be on site all events to render aid to participants in need.

Q: Am I required to attend any briefings before participating in the event?
A: No. However, there will be e-briefings on the event website.

Q: How is the matching of team members done?
A: Participants are matched according to a set of criteria by a matching program.

Q:How are the results compiled?
A:The competition times of participants will be tracked using transponder timing. Results will be compiled according to the timing device provided.

Q: When will the results be ready?
A: Results will be ready a week after the race.

Q: Can I bring along my pets?
A: No. Pets are strictly not allowed on race routes.
